How does the egg donation process work?

Donated eggs are typically fertilized in a laboratory. The resulting embryos are then transferred into the recipient’s uterus using a procedure such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Alternatively, some or all of the embryos may be frozen for later use, or some may be transferred to other women.
This type of fertility treatment is generally given to women who cannot use their own eggs for various reasons, such as ovarian failure, to avoid genetic defects, or advanced age.

IVF is the process of fertilization by manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish, and then transferring the embryo to the uterus.

Egg Donors Live a Life of Purpose

By | Blog | No Comments

Happiness is helping others. Our egg donors can experience a lifetime of happiness because they live a life of  ♥PURPOSE♥.

They give the gift of hope to another person and in return they know that they are living a purpose-driven life.♥

The news that you need help creating a family is devastating. My husband and I have been in love for 17 years, married for 12, and trying to conceive for four. When we learned that donor eggs were our best option for creating our family, we were shocked and heartbroken. From the very beginning, the director and staff at Giving Hope made me feel loved, cared for, and special. The day I sent an inquiry, I received access to the donor database. I was so impressed with the donors. Each donor expressed genuine compassion and a desire to help infertile couples like us. When we chose our donor, we were emailed within hours letting us know that she was available. We then scheduled a phone conference with Giving Hope. From the moment I had the telephone conference, I knew we made the right decision. The director and each staff member we spoke with took the time to get to know me, and offered genuine comfort and HOPE. We were given a case manager, and she was the most supportive and helpful woman. If I met her today, I'd hug her. Through the entire process she called, emailed, and texted to facilitate every aspect of this egg adoption, even sending messages to and from our donor. That was the most special part of all, being able to send encouraging messages to our donor, and receiving them from her! Giving Hope is the perfect name for this company. These wonderful people genuinely care about you. They support you through the dark times, lead and guide you through the process, then rejoice with you when miracles happen! What could have been a truly daunting and emotional nightmare was a journey of HOPE. My husband and I are now expecting our first child, and we're so grateful God led us to Giving Hope!
